Responsibilities
• Develop cost estimates by analyzing
materials and labor necessary to complete industrial electrical
projects.
•
Analyze, organize, and comprehend construction documents such as
Drawings, Specifications, Scopes of work and change order
documentation'
• Develop scopes of work and bills of
material into a standard proposal template.- • Work
with suppliers and sub-contractors during the bid process in order
to obtain complete bid package information.
- • Provide
value engineering suggestions and pricing.
- • Predict
possible issues and pitfalls of projects.
- • Work
closely with Electrical staff, Project Managers, and Engineering
team.
- • Perform
other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Qualifications
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or
Construction Management and/or related experience.
• 3 – 7 years experience in industrial
electrical estimating.
• Solid electrical background with
knowledge of the materials and methods used to complete an
industrial electrical project.
• In depth familiarity with National
Electrical Code.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with multiple estimates
concurrently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience
with Microsoft Office products.- •
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
